In the middle of 2018 my D&D group ended our 3 year campaign (my first!). As I was going through my folder of goodies—trying to track down all the journals that I had used throughout the campaign—I found that I really wanted a more permanent way to chronicle my next character’s adventures. So, like any crafty ADHD person, I went to YouTube and began to learn how to make books. It was a pretty long process, both learning how to physically make them and deciding what the layout should be.
At first I really concentrated on making hand-bound hard cover journals, but fell in love with the versatility of the discbound journals and the freedom it gives me during the campaign to put my notes where I need them, and where I want them.
That’s when Witch Bolt Press was born
